We think fat binders of research results are boring so we figured out a way to make it more exciting. We’ve developed software to do internet based market research with lots of photos, videos, audio and 3d simulations. Why can’t research be fun? Responsibilities

  • User interface implementation, optimization and design
  • Web development and maintenance of the corporate website, product micro websites, intranet and extranet
  • Optimizing the website for search engine placement
  • Drive standards and best practices at the markup layer for our web properties
  • Take responsibility and ownership for timelines and deliverables

Requirements

  • Expert-level knowledge of CSS layout
  • Strong experience with JavaScript, including AJAX and at least one JS library (such as Prototype, jQuery, ExtJS)
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop as it applies to web development
  • Experience with cross browser compatibility issues and optimization
  • Experience of (X)HTML, standards compliance and accessibility
  • Some experience with web programming languages (PHP, ASP.NET)
  • Experience with Databases (MySQL, MS SQL) an asset
