What’s ahead for 2005
2004 has been a very exciting year for all of us at Vision Critical. The company has more than doubled in size, we've opened offices in 2 new locations, and we were successful in raising significant outside capital that has both fueled growth and allowed us to continue to focus on product improvements and new product development.
Here are some highlights... On the product side, we have significantly expanded our operations and development teams. This resulted in the launch of version 2.0 of our Panel+ product, and regular new feature releases. Panel+ utilizes the Microsoft .net development platform and features a creative, intuitive, user interface and robust reporting and filtering capabilities. Huge strides were also made with our Fusion capabilities. One massive category management project, for example, gave respondents the ability to interact with over 5000 individual SKU's. On the Sales & Marketing front we have developed an aggressive Inside Sales team. We have doubled the size of our sales and marketing team in Vancouver and added key sales personnel to new offices in Toronto and Denver. Even though we are primarily a technology based company, we have enlarged our client services team of market researchers, whose efforts have provided sound management of our Panel+ and Fusion initiatives, and have helped guide clients through new, and in some cases, uncharted territory. Looking ahead to 2005, we have a number of initiatives in regards to product development. Panel+ will continue to see new releases, and the productization of our Fusion capabilities with further integrations into Panel+ will be a key area of focus. Client services will also continue to grow in support of our increased sales initiatives. In short, 2005 looks to prove another year of solid growth and development.
