Ed Morawski

Ed joined Vision Critical in the fall of 2006 as a founder of Angus Reid Strategies. Over the next three years Angus Reid Strategies had become one of North America’s leading research and consulting practices generating $30 million in annual revenues with offices in Canada, the United States, Europe and Australia. Within the newly merged company, Ed is responsible for client services spanning the research practice, panel services and online communities globally.

Before founding Angus Reid Strategies, Ed worked in the New York office of Ipsos North America, a global market research firm where he spent more than five years as Senior Vice President. While at Ipsos, Ed was a leading expert in pharmaceutical brand equity and brand management research for global companies. He was also a founding manager of Ipsos Insight Health in North America, which he helped grow from US$4 million to a US$16 million in four years.

Prior to Ipsos, Ed worked with Angus Reid at the Angus Reid Group in Vancouver where he was responsible for marketing research, advertising research, public affairs research and forecasting.

Ed has a BA in economics from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario and an MA degree in public policy from the University of British Columbia. He has appeared on BBC Television, BBC Radio and CBC Television providing insight and commentary on public opinion with regard to a variety of issues including health and pharmaceuticals, privacy, and economic confidence. He has also written several white papers and research and opinion pieces in a number of publications.
