Drones, on-demand platforms, user-generated content and the changing millennial lifestyle dominated this year’s Internet Trends Report, a presentation delivered by Mary Meeker, partner at venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield Byers, at the Code Conference. Entrepreneurs and tech enthusiasts look forward to the the annual report to learn about the state of the web and get a forecast of what’s coming in the next year.

“We are re-imagining more and more aspects of our daily lives, as mobile users and entrepreneurs continue to push innovation and creative output across new online platforms,” the report notes. “Demographic shifts are helping to accelerate technology changes. Millennials are now the largest generation in the workforce and their work / life expectations differ from previous generations.”

The following highlights stats that are pertinent to marketers.
