The federal government, with its seat in Ottawa thousands of kilometres away – increasingly getting out of the business of service delivery – is arguably less relevant in our day-today lives.
The provincial government has more direct impact. But our cities affect us the most. Whether it is garbage pickup or urban walking trails, we look to municipal halls first.
