The stock car racing outfit tapped research firm Vision Critical to build the pool of enthusiasts, called an insight community, to gather opinions on the sport. For Nascar, “it’s a direct line to actual customers,” said Vision Critical CEO Andrew Reid. “They’re honest — brutally honest sometimes.”
