Most Canadians are satisfied with municipal governments: Survey
The vast majority of Canadians are satisfied with their municipal governments, but many citizens also feel alienated and disengaged from city hall, found a new Vision Critical survey to be released Monday.
The online survey found 71 per cent of Canadians are satisfied with their municipal government — a higher satisfaction rating than for the provincial or federal governments.
“Cities came up fairly well,” said Angus Reid, chairman of Vision Critical, which conducted the four-country survey among 5,053 respondents in Canada, the U.S., U.K. and Australia.
