Vision Critical Appoints New Vice President of Business Development

VANCOUVER, BC – July 28, 2011 — Global research and technology firm Vision Critical announced today the appointment of Tyler Douglas as Vice President, Business Development for the company’s software product lines.

In his new role, Douglas will be responsible for helping to grow Vision Critical’s Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty software business. He will be based in Vancouver.

Douglas has a wealth of experience in starting and leading technology companies. Previously, he was the Director of Strategic Partnerships for The Active Network, a San Diego based provider of technology and marketing services, and helped it grow from a $30M to $300M organization with a successful IPO on the New York Stock Exchange. Prior to that, he was co-founder of IronPoint Technology, a public-sector content and collaboration software company, which was successfully acquired by The Active Network.
