Vision Critical Australia Posts Record Year-On-Year Growth

Portfolio Of Clients Expands With Blue-Chip Brands

SYDNEY – July 30, 2013 – Vision Critical, the leading provider of insight community technologies, today announced that its Australian business has seen 73 percent year-on-year revenue growth and 300 percent growth in new business since January 1, 2013.

During the 2012/2013 financial year Vision Critical Australia undertook projects on behalf of a number of new clients including the AFL, Westpac, Target and Tabcorp. The business also appointed six additional key staff in its Sydney office.

Established in 2009, Vision Critical Australia and New Zealand has grown from three to 35 employees in three years and is one of the largest revenue earners for the Vision Critical group outside its North American operations.

Vision Critical Australia and New Zealand Managing Director Peter Harris said, “There is clearly a strong appetite in business for the kind of insights Vision Critical customer insight communities provide and they represent a sound investment for growing clients’ business.”

Harris added, “Our insight communities help brands get to the heart of how their customers think and why they do the things they do. This approach is leading the research revolution and helps CMOs, marketing leaders, researchers and product teams make the best decisions for their business by getting closer to their customers more quickly and effectively.”

“Technology has become one of the most important enablers in the new research landscape and Vision Critical is at the forefront of insight community technology,” Harris said. “We’re seeing significant changes in our industry. The most impressive of these is how an insight community allows brands to connect with customers more often, which means more issues and new products can now receive some form of consumer lens prior to decisions being made.”

Vision Critical has initiated a number of pioneering insight communities in the past year, including the launch of the AFL’s first official online fan community and the creation of the Target Talk insight community.
