SYDNEY – April 8, 2013- Vision Critical, the leading provider of insight community technologies, has launched the Australian Football League’s official fan community, called AFL Fan Focus, to coincide with the start of the 2013 season.
AFL Fan Focus is an online community where selected fans have the opportunity to regularly provide their opinion and share their ideas and experiences with the AFL through interactive surveys, topical discussions and other activities.
It will enable the AFL to talk to its supporters about all facets of being an AFL fan including the match day experience, ticketing, what it means to be a member and advertising.
The new community, which was launched on March 27 and already has more than a thousand members, marks the first time any of the major football codes has launched an insight community.
“We know that our AFL fans are passionate about football and are a valuable source of ideas and inspiration. That’s why we have set up this dedicated platform of supporters to help us shape the AFL experience in future,” Shaun Welch, AFL Consumer Strategy Manager, said.
Vision Critical Managing Director Australia and New Zealand, Peter Harris, added: “AFL Fan Focus has been built to help the AFL get right to the heart of what supporters think about their favourite game.
