Today, we’re excited to announce that Scott Monty (Ford, SHIFT Communications) is joining us at the Vision Critical Summit 2014, in New York City on October 8 and 9 as our keynote speaker.
A celebration of strategic thinking and technological innovation, the Vision Critical Summit is an annual event that connects the best and brightest minds in the customer intelligence industry. In his keynote, Scott will share his thoughts on how Ford approached customer intelligence – and why social media hasn’t lived up to its promise as a tool for real-time customer feedback and engagement. Other speakers this year include customer intelligence leaders from Discovery Communications, World Vision, Yahoo and other Vision Critical customers.
A renowned marketer, Scott Monty has been ranked by The Economist as one of the top 25 social business leaders and by Forbes as of one of the top 10 influencers in social media. At Ford Motor Company, Scott headed the social media function from 2008 to 2014. His work made Ford a leader in social media. Under Scott’s watch, Ford became the first automaker to reveal a vehicle on Facebook and became the first auto brand on Google+. Former Ford CEO Alan Mullally called Scott ”a visionary” for his work. Today Scott is Executive Vice President of Strategy at SHIFT Communications.
